I have two stones with this kanji on them, along with the usual shohonyama stamps. What does it mean on a stone?
Thank you, Steve

This one I recognize as usually the first character in the shohonyama stamp that many stones have on them. But does it mean anything different by itself, like on the side of this stone?
It's circled so maybe I have found the extremely rare and prized 'marusho' stone...
Thanks!
Cheers, Steve
