just recently I bought my first Japanese straight razor and I'd like to know what is stamped on the tang, so maybe I can figure out who made it.

I increased contrast and brightness to improve readability.

Hi, I believe it is:

秋水 Shūsui (not entirely sure)
手打レーザ teuchi rēza = handmade razor
日立ヤスキ鋼 Hitachi Yasuki-kō = Hitachi Yasuki steel

Indeed, that would be the trademark/maker/factory or something like that.
I guess it could be translated as "Autumn water", but I'm really not sure, I'm even not entirely sure if it is 秋水 so...

"Arsenico" most probably will know this
