    Hi Fikira, you are right. The kanji you wrote it's the one we were looking for.
    They have the same pronounciation and I made a mistake in typing it. So no butterflies here!
    Thanks a lot!

    I had a strange feeling on this stone. It's because I have already seen it

    Last group of kanji are:
    別選 Bessen, meaning specially selected.
    Some doubts on the last one.
    To me it should be this 乙
    Give a look here for the translation:
    乙 · Tangorin Japanese Dictionary
    To a taiwan friend (they are also very good in reading kanji ) it is a simple 2
    Anyway if you look at the translation at some point it is written "second in rank"
    So it MIGHT mean "2nd choice" or "second best choice".
    A japanese wetshaver here could be a great help!

    Great!
    Your welcome! It isn't always easy, far from it!

    By the way, my "kanji" page has grown "a bit"
    Still more to come in the next few weeks!

    Thanks to Fakira's Kanji page, I think I found my kamisori. The seller had said it was a Fuji & that it was high grade. I was wanting to verify that & please tell me if I'm right. Look on the Kanji page here:

    https://historyrazors.wordpress.com/...subscribe-blog

    I scrolled down to the "f"'s for Fuji & that is what it shows, an almost identical pic of my kamisori.

    Yep, that is a Fuji Tamahagane
    "純玉鋼別打" "実?" = "Jun Tamahagane betsu uchi" "mi?"
    = specially made/forged genuine Tamahagane
    特級 = Tokkyū, high grade
    登録商標 = tōroku shōhyō
    冨二 = Fuji

    Could I use the picture for the page please? Especially for the last kanji

    Thanks! (It's Fikira by the way )

    Thanks! Great! I appreciate it very much!
    I'm really not sure, but maybe it is:
    保險附 = ho 險 Fu (?) = supplementary insurance (?)

    Hi, it is the same as 保険付 hoken tsuki (with insurance)
    險=険 保険 ‎(shinjitai kanji, kyūjitai kanji 保險, hiragana ほけん, romaji hoken)
    https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E4%BF%9D%E9%99%BA

    附=付 附 · Tangorin Japanese Dictionary
    In this case they have a slight difference, but often are used with the same meaning

    I'll let a friend read this one carefully
