    Prep: Hot Shower/Hot Towel
Strop: Osgar restored vintage Shell Horse
    Brush: Custom Silver-tip Badger
    Soap: MDC
Razor: John Hassal 6/8 Near Wedge
    Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
    Balm: Nivea Replenishing
    A/S: David Craig Bay Rum
Tonight I was up against a substantial 2 1/2 day growth and this wedge is one of my favorites for such occasions. I decided to take my time and have a great shave, I did 3 very slow and precise passes.
Result: This was a phenomenal shave, I'm smoother than a baby's butt, with zero irritation.
Hope you all have equally great shaves today, and thanks for all the fantastic posts.

    Prep: Hot Shower
    Razor: Texas Shumate
    Brush: Omega Boar
    Soap: VDH Deluxe
AS: Ivy Club Pour Homme (very good knock-off of the Old Spice of my childhood)
    Finish: Crusellas Kolonia 1800 Sandalwood

Not a lot of complexity here but a very nice shave. Bad stash day today. It didn't want to cooperate with the wax so I decided just brush it out and call it good. My stash now has that feathered, Farrah Fawcet, 1970's look.

Indeed Robert. Mama Bear's Lime Ice shaving soap and aftershave balm is one of the most refreshing combinations I have ever tried. They have a nice menthol kick.

I highly recommend both of them.
