Sun December 09th - December 15th
Prep: Family Mart Ice Coffee(getting really bad about face prep)
Brush: AoS Badger
Razor: Dovo 5/8 Round Point Carpe Diem in multiwood
Soap: SRD Vetiver
Strop: SRD Black Latigo Leather w/ Poly Webbing (35web/70 leather)
Shave: one pass XTG
AS: Old Spice
ASB: AoS Sandalwood
Result: I have finally learned the art of the one pass shave and it comes in handy now that I am in full marathon training mode. I got a DFS and the Vetiver hit the spot with its scent, explosion of suds and slickness. I know the pic shows AoS unscented , but I forgot i had the sandalwood in my gym bag so i used it instead. I haven't been posting lately cause I have been spending my mornings right before work training. My work outs are getting longer so I don't have much time to shave, take pics, fix pic , get 2 kids ready, drop kids off at daycare, run 13miles, shower @ work and be ready for work at 0830. Today was kind of a off day I rode a bike for 6 mies and called it good.

Joe, it's actually not my anniversary (that's in July), but a guy like me can never spend enough time counting his blessings that a woman like my wife agreed to take me!

Pre: Hot Shower, Nivea Face Wash & Scrub
Soap: La Toja shredded into a vintage Old Spice Mug
Brush: Vulfix Silvertip
Razor: Custom Max Sprecher 13/16 Barber's Notch with two colored scales
Scuttle: SWK XL White
Astringent: Dickinson's Witch Hazel

This is my FAVORITE razor. It is "wicked sharp!" My wife had it made for me for our anniversary this year, and it never disappoints. I can't say enough about Max's work, be it customs or restores. Just a fantastic way to start the day! Hope all my friends have a great day and rest of the week.

After the TBS synthetic brush's second cheek abrading shave last evening, SWMBO has it back. Why flog a dead horse. Love the scent of the Palmolive and works great in an uber lather but on it's own I am not so sure about it. I am starting to think, that for me, most readily available tube creams don't have enough slickness for me with straights. They were fine with DEs though. I think I'll stick with Cella, Vitos Red and Arko when used alone. Anyway, it was a good shave and I hope yours is/was too.
