I didn't have a very good shave today. It seems the Elf on the Shelf heisted my razor to do some touch up work on his handlebars.
I dunno if any of you guys have kids and do the Elf on the Shelf thing...but it's serious business in this house. My wife makes custom cloths for them.

Thanked: 485Wednesday
I don't really LIKE using this razor; too narrow for me, but I'm persevering and trying to learn its wants and needs. I spoke about O Melhor cream on another thread, so decided to use it this morning. Excellent cream. Excellent scent. Just wish it was more natural.
Aftershaves and tonics were Bay Rum.
36 degrees today and I hear 38 forecast for tomorrow. I don't mind the heat but it's forecast with showers, which make sit humid and I hate humid.
I can't really say why I chose to picture the Rolleicord, other than I was thinking today I need to use it more...

What a way to start the day! I hadn't used a DE in a while, and certainly had not übered up some Cade in a very long time. Both worked very well!

What a great shave! MWF performed admirably (as is its standard) the lemongrass witch hazel and Manantiales were a great one two punch as well. The older I get, the better I was

Brush: Silvertip Badger
Soap: Tabac
Razor: Simmon's Barber's Pet 5/8
DE: Pa's Gillette Tech Feather Blade
Astringent: Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel
Balm: Nivea Replenishing
A/S: Old Spice
Tonights shave was partly for a point of reference for the Barber's Pet
I just bought myself a Norton 4/8 and I'm going to use the Simmon's to try it out.
Tonights shave was pretty good. I'd rate the edge on this razor about a 7.5 out of 10.
Looking forward to playing around with the Norton.
The DE with a brand new Feather blade left my head smooth as a catfishes belly.
