The Edwin Jagger DE89l would get my no.1 vote because it got me started in wet shaving, but not only that, it is a good solid build and gives a nice close shave without being too aggressive. The other DE razors I own are too close to pick, and I would base it more on looks than performance, with my Gillette Norfolk winning hands down.

Gillette NEW Long Comb - In over 80 years, it hasn't been improved on.

Merkur 37c Slant - Hands down my favorite currently available DE

    Merkur 34c - almost perfect

Gillette Tech - very mild as is, it becomes nearly perfect with a shim installed under the blade

    Slim
    Super Adjustable
    Lady Gillette
    Black Handled Super Speed
    Old Type (Pocket Edition)
In no particular order. If I had to pick just one for the rest of my life, it would be the Super Speed.

I've gotten good shaves with them, but I prefer a fixed blade exposure for some unknown reason. The old Barbasol is also one I keep in the cabinet for occasional use. Sort of like the 139C slant in size and weight but a standard head.
I wasn't aware that Barbasol made razors, I'd sure like to see a picture of it!

Adoring the Pils, but havent used it. As far as what I use, I find Standard Razors Black superior.

I made a "hybrid" DE that is my favorite. I married a Muhle R41 head with a Maggard MR8 heavy stainless handle and use it either with Feather blades or Astra Platinum. It is by far my favorite DE razor, because of its weight and the fairly aggressive nature of the head. My #2 is a Merkur 43C. It is considerably less aggressive, but great for when I want a fast but good shave. I use Israeli Personna Isreli blades most of the time in it.

My favourite razors seem to change over time, with previous favourites going out of favour, and new ones coming to the fore.

    Currently, I am enjoying:

    1) Standard razor
    2) 2013 Muhle R41
    3) Gladweg push-button
