Thanked: 3My wife actually talked me into trying a straight. She recognized my love of tinkering and my love of wetshaving could both be better satisfied by straight razor shaving. I still shave with a DE most of the time but I love honing and stopping the couple straights I have and really enjoy the few times a month when I take the time for a SR shave.

Thanked: 2Different reactions all the time. Some have true interest. Some think you will cut yourself to bits. Some ask if it really is better than Mach 3 etc. many thoughts on it. Most of them fear of the unknown it seems.
