Thanked: 4206Thanks for sharing Roy. A good tale that highlights the community for sure!
Now, what came in the mail.
A few niceties from Texas, to be posted later. And something to help with my intricate work I can no longer see reliably..
4 different magnification lenses and two mounts so so infinite magnification and focal length control.
$15 cdn, free shipping from the orient.
Wish I had them on when I paid too much for this lil gem.
The materials behind the depew are going to good uses however..

It's times like this that warms my heart and helps heal the pain from the times that others kept loaner razors and just 'dissipated into thin air' never to be heard of again. [/QUOTE]
And its good guys like you who deserve this good luck.
I still believe in my fellow man, I need to learn to be more discerning.Your only as good as your last hone job.

Nice! Gives me an idea on what to do with all those ties I received over the years, at Christmas [emoji5]

They DO remind me of loud ties! These are the bomb for keeping nice strops nice, and especially complementing them.
If you look at the pic, there is a split 'coat tail' on the back side to ease the raising and lowering of the sock.
You simply hang your strop at the stropping locale, Slide the sock up and bunch it at the hardware up there, strop your razor, flipping it as necessary. As-done, it is easy to grab the split bottom and pull it down, perfectly straight.
That, and you may see Jimmie Hendrix in the thing as you do. What could be nicer?
