    Thanks for sharing Roy. A good tale that highlights the community for sure!

    Now, what came in the mail.
    A few niceties from Texas, to be posted later. And something to help with my intricate work I can no longer see reliably..

    Whoa Dude! Put on some Hendrix, fire up a doobie and try out the one on the right!

    Those are sweet. Have mine hangin in the bathroom probably too close to the sink. Never thought of using so,etching like that! Cool idea.

    They DO remind me of loud ties! These are the bomb for keeping nice strops nice, and especially complementing them.
    If you look at the pic, there is a split 'coat tail' on the back side to ease the raising and lowering of the sock.
    You simply hang your strop at the stropping locale, Slide the sock up and bunch it at the hardware up there, strop your razor, flipping it as necessary. As-done, it is easy to grab the split bottom and pull it down, perfectly straight.
    That, and you may see Jimmie Hendrix in the thing as you do. What could be nicer?
