    You are correct sir.

It also contained a handwritten note that in this day and age is something special!

Two things: 1-Glad you liked it and 2-Even more glad that you could read my handwriting.

Yes, it is the remnants of a destroyed ball-point pen. It would still be there in the Safeway's parking lot if this remnant had not broken to resemble the pen point of an ink fountain pen. Artists and doctors are notorious for crappy penmanship.

I have a small collection of fountain pens and enjoy using them.

I enjoy carrying one at work and when someone asks to borrow a pen it is fun to see their reaction.

After reading your last post I gave the note to my youngest son [26] and he read it easily.

They don't even teach cursive in school now a days...

HELL! They really don't even teach 'Penmanship' in school and haven't for years! When my son was in High School and living with me, I had him leave a note on the computer as I can't read his handwriting

Will reach the apartment in few days, but figures as soon as I get a new toy my car battery goes out haha. Not sure though if I am going to use the stone and seal the label or just leave it as it for the collection. Will see how it compares to my small thuri bout I have

How do sharpening stones rate as things to have when the SHTF?

Been looking for quite a while for a Swiss automatic watch, decided to get this one.
