Wade and Butcher For Barbers Use. From sellers measuring blade is right on 1 inch wide. Picked up off local classifieds for an excellent price given good condition. Blade shouldn't need much more than a good polish
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

Coming my way a wonderful gift from a good friend from Japan, A superfine Nakayama stone with matching Nakayama Nagura.

Wade and Butcher Bow Razor that has seen better days but soon to be returned to it's former glory. Looks to have been a workhorse in it's day. Hopefully I have a piece of horn that will match the one on the back side to replace that crappy wood on the show side. Looks like hell now but the blade looks very salvageable. The seller called it "3/4" but we'll see if it is really 6/8, 11/16 or hopefully 13/16. Looks in a couple of pics to be a Spanish point.

It was cheap too. I was afraid there was something wrong with it. I'll probably give it a smile to match the spine but it looks pretty good.

Nice razor Paul, those are a great brand, and the condition on that one is pretty nice too.

Nice Korn porn, Paul-that is one of the famous Little Valley blades, too. And Jerry, I'm thinking about getting some carbides. They're supposed to be a lot easier to use.

Yes I'm looking forward to shaving with it. Love that Little Valley steel. I only have a couple, at least only a couple that are marked as such.

Default Mahogany Shaving Soap, Aftershave Balm & Beard Oil to match

On the way from WSP in Arizona.

    From the WSP site:

Mahogany - It's a little sweet, a little spicy, and a lot of sexy. Sensual, woody, and spicy is how one customer's wife described it. "It reminds me of walking through a forest." is how another customer put it. "A perfect blend of sweet, spicy & woody". I started with a base note of mahogany and then accented it with bergamot, vanilla, cedar and allspice notes. Then I threw in some cedar, vanilla & patchouli to round it out.

I got a sample and I thought it was excellent so I have the full size with matching balm and beard oil on the way, lovely and strong scent (I hate subtle stuff) and an easy to make rich thick lather with the legs for 4 passes.
