Anxious to get it but will take my time and do it right and hopefully will have a less colorful first shave! I'll take Lynn's advise and just do one sideburn for awhile. I have plenty of patience and the ER already has plenty of patients!
Look forward to seeing you and Ron187524 in the SOTD. Start slow, good prep, pay attention and you'll be fine. There is a bit of a learning curve but with the awesome, shave ready stuff you guys have you will do fine!

Somehow every time I say I'm not going to keep buying stuff, I find a good deal. Uh, it's like a disease, I think I need to delete my ebay account! This came today, I call it the runway!

It's a 9x2, I'm calling it light green, thuringian. If you saw the price tag you'd think I stole it...

Yeah, that was my plan. I told the spouse it would be a while before I actually used the razor because I planned on watching the video first. When I told her how long it was she kinda freaked out. I told her don't worry, I'll take it out to "The Cave" and watch it, even though I should watch it in the house and pay her back for watching her chick flicks while I'm home! Now that I'm getting older I try not to make too many waves though.

As some of you know, I love saving old Sheffield steel. Especially the down trodden, small manufacturer, mistreated razors to see if I can breath some life back into them and this looks like a prime candidate.
Never looking for the beauty contest winner. Just want to clean it up, put an edge on it and shave with it like it remembers doing 100 something years ago!

Really hard to find a good background on these but found some cool old history from Neil Miller ( man he has some awesome old posts ) and our own Sharptonn!

Look forward to getting this one and seeing what can be done with it, and of course use it!
