Ditto here. I have managed to squeeze in the odd 15 minutes to an hour here and there at work, where there is a small gym (of sorts). I have been out of it for a while, so I'm taking it relatively easy. Lower weights, more reps. Although my deadlift is coming along nicely, I feel (at least) my body picks that up pretty fast.
Grip strength has deteriorated quite a bit. Straps would be an answer, but I prefer to work naturally, without additional help (straps, belts and whatnot), apart from magnesium for my sweaty paws. I go slower and develop everything I need to develop in order to make a lift rather than take a shortcut both physically and technique-wise.
Sadly, the roof is too low for doing shoulder presses standing up. It's the only way I do them, much better for the back than sitting down, I feel. But handstand push ups make up for that, at least a bit, which great on their own as well. On a good day I manage a free-standing one.
Push ups, bench presses, some lat pulls and whatnot. But my main focus for now is the deadlift (as far as the gym goes), as it is the most all-round free weight exercise, I find. And absolutely phenomenal for my back; a few sessions over the last five days already make a difference.
Now, cardio. Yes. Right. I know.Last edited by Pithor; 11-03-2015 at 10:29 PM.

Thanked: 118528km bike ride. This is where The Codger really shines, in that just out for a ride 15-20 mile range. I would say that for a knock about, fitness or cruising bike, The Codger is about as good as it gets. Note to self- recharge lights after each use or they die mid ride and you're cruising Ray Charles style

Had a great night ride with some mates tonight at a quickish pace.

Ran on the treadmill for half hour today. First run in a month. I followed that with wide grip pull ups, tri pull downs, curls and shoulder press. Felt good to get back on the horse. The Power Horse.
