I'm going to do a long ride tomorrow with the Friday crew. Probably in the region of 80k's
Sunday will be a long trail run of 18km which is being organised by a mate of mine. There should be 15 - 20 people running, some doing the shorter route of 11km.Tony

5 x 30 pushups. 10 x 500m r1:00 at around 1:54's. Man I hate intervals.

Holy damn skippy. My estimated 80km's turned into 107.
Wouldn't have been too bad if the pace wasn't above 30kmph for the first 2 hours. Limped back for the last 35km's and my average was still 28kmph. Set 17 PR's on Strava with another 10 achievements.
I suppose that will teach me to try and ride with a road crew on my CX bike.
Oh well, what doesn't kill me should make me stronger.Tony

Thanked: 118522.35 miles (36km) on the fatty today. Christmas shopping and the honey do list earlier today. I wanted saddle time on the fatty but by the time I got back from Christmas shopping I had neither the time nor the inclination for anything too elaborate. So I aired up the tires, stepped out the door and went for a bike path (pavement) ride. It does OK on pavement. The higher end of the gears (the highest of which is 32/11) produces a fairly brisk pace. A fairly blustery day here so the wind was blasting me in the face the whole way back (that's always a hoot.)
The older I get, the better I was

So with my legs being sore from yesterday, I opted for the shorter 11k route this morning.

Yesterday was kettlebell day. Same routine as last time, but went all the way through twice instead of doing each half twice in a row. One arm swings, long cycle press, snatch, halos, high pulls, curls.
Today is rest day. And I'm feeling under the weather.
