And that's westcountry folk for you. Gloucester was about 20 mins from where I used to live.

Very pleased to see you gave yourself knee protectors and a helmet Mick very sensible, you also put a slight belly on yourself, one things for sure If I ever came to Australia I would never mistake you for anyone else especially with three fingers and those super thin arms and legs.

Getting back into stride for my walking after a bit of break in January.
Up steps, across tracks, down farm paddocks.
15km in 2h 37m. about 5.7 kph as an average.

Cheese rolling - strangely enough New Zealand has a reasonable tradition here.
New Zealand’s most successful participant was Auckland’s Dionne Carter, who won the Ladies event in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
And ex-All Black Marc Ellis gained fame back in 2004 when he won the second race on the card.

I think I am starting to see some benefit from the exercise that I am doing, I am nowhere near my goal, but I am definately a bit slimmer, even with a couple of beers most nights.

8 kay on the board and 12 kay on the bike today. The board was taken on early (0430) and was a bit on the gentle side. The bike was done about an hour after returning from that (I had a light breakfast of a banana smoothie and a cup of coffee in the interim) and was flat strap the whole way...Which for me is about 30 kph as an average.

Good work, my average speed is a bit less than that, but I will be trying to speed it up now I am getting back in shape.
I did 5k this morning and another 5k just now on the treadmill, all up about 1hr 20 and at max incline
