Definitely not going to fit the larger blades.
I get 1 x 1 x 6 inch blanks and they are big enough. Yeah, there's lots of 5 inch blanks out there and I suspect that's what you have near your house? Yep, too small.

The 6 inch blanks I got here Monster 1 x 6 Inch Acrylic Blanks, Acrylic Pen Blanks, Acrylics I think this one is "fishbone maroon". There's other places have the big ones too.

I got the Luna all finished up now. It went together perfectly. I used the unbroken old scale as a template and so the old wedge and spacer worked great with the new scales. Nickel silver pins, collarless third pin. It's all honed up and ready to shave. Can't wait, looks like a fun blade to use - shoulderless, slight thumb notch, nice shape to it! This is my first and only Luna.

    Great project Tuzi!
That blade looks similar to an Antelope that I either have or had.

Thanks, yeah I really like the scales with this blade too. I like using acrylic sometimes - but to too wild and it has to pair well with the blade. Makes for great scales material, durable, flexible, waterproof (not that they should ever get wet) and polishes well. The Luna logo on the tang is pretty cool too.

Thanks! There's a little room to spare, the scales are the same size as the originals so it all lined up well.

Very nice Tuzi. A little extra room is always good in my book. I've made a couple too tight of a fit and had to unpin and redu to wedge. Now I like just a little extra room.
    It's just Sharpening, right?
