Nope, I think he just meticulously carved out the bone to fit the symbol.
Then set the bone and symbol on the g10. Pretty slick, and quite thin despite being a combo of materials.

Been working on some brushes this weekend. The antler is a piece Rez gifted me a while back. Had to bleach the crap out of it because it was a very dark greeny/gray. I'm super happy with the way it's turning out.

The skateboard veneer brush I'm doing the clear coat that Tom had done on another I had gifted him. I was so impressed with the way his finish turned out, I had to give it a try. It needs to cure up a bit before I polish it, and then liquid glass.

The acrylic handle is one I had done for a while, just couldn't decide what knot I wanted in it. I think this synthetic goes well.

    Awesome brushes, Andrew.
That synthetic really pops with the handle.

I like all your brushes but when I look at the bottom one "anyone" can do it.

    Keep them unique!

I dunno, note the octagonal base cuts, swirly different material in the banded areas, pretty unique to my eye..
Traditional shape, but with Baden pizzazz I’d have a time to replicate...
