Will use a progression o Nanis, 1000 chosera, 5000, 8000, 12000 SS, Then 20-30 passes on the thurigan. Use of slurry on each stone, diluting to water on all as well. Then to just leather.
    See y'all soon.[emoji6]

When I got Home I couldn't wait till morning to shave so I prepped up and started in on what became a wonderful shave. I cant wait till my honing comes close to the edge you laid on that razor. I'm looking forward to getting the hones we talked about, they really felt smooth, and less waiting to hone with them. I'm still going to work with the coticule but I think it will take time to understand how both of them work and feel. Natural stones are a different animal the the synthetic. Ill keep in touch, having someone this close and more interested in straights then I am is great. I learned a lot in the six or so hours we talked, can't wait to learn more. Mike you trully know your craft, Thank you again for sharing your knowledge

That's what we all are here for, to help others out. I've known outback Mike ever since he became a member here I believe & he has always been a great guy to know.
