I'm going to have to do something like that. My digital camera is 8 years old & 8mp & has been acting up so I figured it was time to get a new 20mp for a killer deal. The battery hasn't been staying charged as long on the old one also as it used to.

8 year old camera 8mp - Bought in 2008 as a spare when I rode to Milwaukee for the Harley 105th Anniversary in case my previous one went out. Previous one (5mp) still works.

New 20mp with WiFi but I have to use a cable because Canon hasn't made the software compatible to the new Apple OS yet.
    I love it!

Need to get much brighter led bulbs but it seems to help.

This is with 60w equivalent led screw in bulbs and shot with an iphone.
Some pieces of white or black poster board works really well. Super cheap and bend/fold into different shapes to make backgrounds and reflect the light really softly.

Trying sepia tone, or b and w images, in conjunction with bright bulbs will be fun. I also may lay some white trash bag material over the diffusers to soften the light even more.
That resave of the outback anvil in black and white looked pretty cool Tom.

I've tried making a light box out of a diaper box, used it for a bit and my 2 girls got a hold of it for a play house for their dolls. I need to make another cause I bought 3 lights to use with it. Have some black and some whit poster board I picked up at the local art store too. This one you did look pretty darn good Mike.

Right! I have some white poster board & it works well. I need to get a box or fab one up with some lighting & I should be set! Maybe some different colors of poster board also.
