Thanked: 2284Nice grab Richard. That stamp rack is perfect for brushes. I imagine the shrink tubing is for the forks so they don't scratch them?

Exactly what I was thinking too Andrew. I buy my shrink tubing in rolls at Fry's Electronic's locally but I'm sure I could get it on the bay too. I used to buy lots of it when I would do wiring repair on Harley's. For what it's worth, when I did wiring repair, I used shrink tubing, then soldered wires always & never crimped them. Crimping is the cheap way out & it works for awhile but ends up failing at one point or another. I have found different uses for shrink tubing like Richard has for his idea!
(damn computer over correcting itself again. It put crippled instead of crimped & I just had to fix it.)Last edited by engine46; 02-14-2016 at 08:49 PM.

What you thinking for the scales? A little hot water bath to make it malleable and then cookie sheet with a weight?
I have used it with sucsess . You have turned this process into the fewest possible movements and assembly lined restores Mike.
I see a book in your future. Straight razor restores for Newbies, with helpful insight for advanced enthusiasts
Keep up the quality. You are motivating me to revisit some back burner projects.Your only as good as your last hone job.
