    Not exactly Straightend, but in comparison to what they were......much better, and reuseable.

    I knew he could do it! I've also straightened some scales that seemed impossible but it worked. My way was different from machine gun Mike's but I like his way much better. Gotta give him credit where it's due.

    Alright..!! Scales are done and set aside.
    Boy has this blade got rust.
    I'll start with a simple razor blade and cut the active rust off, then decide what action or direction to go from there.

    Nice save Mike. Like the heat lamp idea. Radiant heat is relatively gentle too if you keep the bulb an appropriate distance away. Good idear...
