I mean......Will you finish it on the side of the finisher as well? Touching it up, even stropping it would be iffy, I think?
Best to see what you actually have first.
Small steps to correct the geometry can be taken, in spite of the wonky spine. Pressure, honewear, etc JMOLast edited by sharptonn; 04-09-2016 at 01:26 AM.

Thanked: 2284I suppose I could, never tried that... Kidding.
No, I set the bevel on the side of my King 1k because it's roughly 1" wide. Then I use a 1 inch coticule, just like anyone else would, to finish it.
Ask Jonathan what he thinks of this method. I sent him a Fredericks celebrated that I honed just like this, he didn't complain about the edge.Last edited by HARRYWALLY; 04-09-2016 at 01:34 AM.

My master mumbled something about fixing a broken scale on the George Butler. Something about mixing up some red dust from some Bloody Red Jasper recon with epoxy & putting the scale back together..................
He just threw me a bone & told me to leave him the %&@$ alone!
And yeah, I can understand every word he says.....................especially when he says pizza!
Sent via King, the big dog of the house.........................WOOF!Last edited by engine46; 04-09-2016 at 06:31 PM.

Thanked: 4827I often wonder how the got the dye to penetrate so deep into the horn. It has to be a combination of heat and pressure. Pressure cooker?
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
