I'm so glad you got that W&B mortise chisel. I'm still trying to get my lathe over here. I just sent a friend a text asking him again. It's only about a 50 mile round trip to & from my mothers house. Been trying to get it over here for the longest but for awhile there, I thought I was going to have to move.
EDIT: I have had no internet since this until now @6:30pm but I was just going to say it was because it was due to it changed hands but its all good, really better not that it isn't of importance.Last edited by engine46; 06-18-2016 at 10:12 PM.

Tearing down for a clean up, and mild bug bite repair on the scales.

Won't be in any rush, on this one. All hands on , for the most part. Just want to make it look nice again, not new.
Unless it comes out that clean. [emoji6]Mike

Thanked: 4206That's going to be a nice look to that handle Andrew, always wanted to try truestone.
Outback Mike, nice looking WB brother! Very nice..
Me, no pics but a mini milestone in so far as I just mounted my final cabinet in the kitchen!!
Granite guy will be here tomorrow to verify the measures for the counters and hopefully back in not too long a time with the finished products.
Now I just need to install shelves, backsplash, led lighting, doors, hardware, and 32 new door pulls.
Been at it for almost 30 days straight now, but it is almost done!!
Miss the simple, peaceful 'effort' of steel renovations and cannot wait to get back to my fun hobbies.
Cheers gents.

Another 10 honed this arvo then 9 more to go for the big rotation box before I do another pile about 10 full rock hops from the restored ready to go but blunt knife roll,
Then I can finish the 5 str8s in the lure box on the work bench and hopefully can add some useful posts.
But I do have a rather tormenting W&B Bow that appears to have a bent tang, that doesn't want to line up since I replaced the broken scale, that makes me think some prescission filling might be required to off set the pivot a bitLast edited by Substance; 06-18-2016 at 11:33 AM.

Definitely not mate, yours looks a lot more cleaner and organised,
Mine is more semi organised chaos, but it is my chaos so only I know where everything is.
Helps keep my boys from digging through things and steeling tools
