I just can't bring myself to destroy a perfectly good W&B. Now!!! If it were butchered already....well that's different.[emoji6]

Ya, I hear ya... Got a pair the same way. Funny..Worked too hard to profile the blades the same best I could......

I did not really notice such a difference in the tangs until I pinned the thick one up...Doh! Too late!

Well, I took a bit off one and saved what I could of the other.
In the bottom pic, stropping piss out of the top one. It is coming in with it's wide bevel.
The wonkey bottom one has always been spot-on. Go figure...

A bit of Dremel-drum would have had the tangs matching......

I see what ya mean, took me a second to notice how the beveled part of the tang was different, and where it stopped in relation to the spine

    On your's or mine?

Sometimes they could be matched up quite well , what with things available, back a bit.
Harder to do these days, I think?

Awesome razors you guys, love seeing the pairs and hearing about the work that went into them. Outback that wood is looking really good, nice coloring on each section.

I'm all done with the flea market box I was refinishing. Got more than a few very light coats of pure tung oil on there and then waxed it. It turned really dark but I like it. In person you can see the grain but the photos just don't pick it up as well. It turns out the box is the perfect size to hold two hones I found together over the summer that were wrapped in a newspaper from 1933. The grey hone had the rubbing stone with it and I added a slurry stone for the coti. Glad they fit because I want to keep those two together as they have been for at least 83 years anyway...
