    Nothing taken by it, l just know how thoroughly I've combed these local stores, in the last year. But I've got some new ones to check out, that are a couple hrs drive out, and in the boonies. ( primitive & antique, shops)
    But in a radius of 1- 1 1/2 hrs from the house....good luck!!

    So bone scales are not quite as easy to carve as I would like them to be.

    Seems as you have nailed it with the addition of induced patina in the grooves?
