2, 3 and 6 are now backward,,,,,, I am going to bed!
Tim
It's best!
Rock on!! Tom. [emoji106]
I know it. No doubt this stuff messes with your brain! Still have the box and interior to go! :p
Tom, you need one with stripes going vertical like this one now!

Sorry, the pics don't do it no justice. It's a listing on the bay. I think it is MOP, the white part......
Yes Master!
In spite of the fact I am not buying ANYTHING MORE for this project (with exception of the box and materials), I saw that one, Steve.
That is the 'old' celluloid like in old Case razors. They have actual glitter in them with clear over. Stuff on the old Cases is crumbling, so I would be afraid of it. Mine are solid colors and have a black liner with exception of 2.
They are quite solid, flexible, and stable. Anyway, I have too many as it is! ;)
Well, I'm sure a few of us would be willing to take a few wayward razors home. You know, so you can keep making them and not go through stripey-withdrawals ;)
I'm dizzy with anticipation Tom..
Looks simply dazzling..
:tu
Clauss made some great razors. Those scales look great.
I have finished this Bigelow and Dowse striper. (yay!)
Attachment 231191Attachment 231192
Rides a bit high in front as I thinned out the wedge a LOT to keep it in the scales. Don't bother me a bit!
Attachment 231193
Best part is, it pinned up easy and centered perfectly with no trickery! I think that is a testimonial to the stability of this type of old celluloid. No shrinkage, nor warpage in any of them.
Attachment 231195
Just to add; Bigelow and Dowse seems to have been a big deal back in the day!
Attachment 231197
Har! I know that, Steve! TBH, I tracked down SenorSteve and we made a deal on that last one you showed.
It put me where I needed to be! Thanks!
It is cool to put all these fine blades to use which were sitting around. All but a few came with bad scales, a few in slick black.
Most are fairly obscure, but all are quality and with little use on them. Should be a great set of users!
Now, to the box! :)
Wow.
Can the razor porn get any better?
I submit that it cannot.
:y:y:y:y:yFinally got another one done. This one is my "sublime" boker. Scales needed cleaning and the blade needed some TLC. It should hone up nicely. This is my first boker.Attachment 231200:y
The HAHA part or the buildup part?
You would have liked to see the two sets I did simultaneously.
Think I drug that out for a year or so.
Found it! Follow the links back at the beginning of each thread. Then go forward from the beginning. :D

The acorn does grow into the mighty oak.
All depends on the hole, you plant it in.[emoji23] [emoji56]
:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:
I have four more to do. They all need a lot of work but the puma needs the most. I'm going to be working on new scales for all of them on the next day off. I hope it's soon!
A little clean up, and a new set of skins for a Sanssouci that belongs to AlanQ, a member of the forum, and proud owner of a Outback anvil. Hey what are buds for, if we cant help each other out.
