You know Roy, you just might have something there. My mind was on him all afternoon. The two of us were just snot nosed teenagers when we started working for my Dad. We pushed a lot of work out of Dad's machine shop together. I'm the last warrior standing out of the old crew and still running the business.

Tom, something just clicked today on the hones. I don't know if it was the Sheffield steel, the selection of rocks, or my buddy with me. I do know that I can't wait for Sunday and my test shave.

I know how hard it can be when someone close, go's back home to our Lord.
The holidays that approach have been extremely difficult for my wife. She lost her brother suddenly, the evening of Christmas day, last year. I have a feeling I'm going to be doing alot of comforting, come Christmas morning. [emoji22]

Thanks Mike. This time of the year is the worst for things like this to happen.

Removed scales from oil bath this morning before going to work. One had a bow to it, so I had to take it back to the heat lamp this evening, and straighten it back out, ( twice ) then gave them a polishing.

All seemed to be holding, so I began pinning it back up and noticed that one of the original collars was split. Took it back apart, and used the bullseye collars Sharpton had sent me from when I did my FBU. Like them much better anyhoo, and matches my other Celebrated razor.

I'll take er to the hones tomorrow.

Yep.. Almost didn't make it last year myself. Had a heart attack in October, then extreme heart arrhythmia two weeks later. They had to stop my heart, and shock me back. Seen St.Peter at the pearly gates, he said God don't want me. So I went downstairs, and hell said they wouldn't have me.
So here I am. [emoji23]

just a quick update...
About to step up to 1200 grit on the Century and decided to start on the Strong Set.

Lookin good, Panama.
The CA should blend that in nicely once finished.
