I'm in, as soon as I find one..Har.!
But I did get one of the Samuel Taylor's honed tonight.
Had to remove some tiny chips, so two layers tape, 1000 chosera till bevel set. Removed one layer, honed on slurried Washita till bevel met, diluting to pure water, adding glycerin till nothing but glycerin. Then to slurried coti , diluting to water, then a "Fast and Fine" barber hone, to a "Ahconite Razor Hone".
    30 pass cr/ox Strop.
    30 lead strop.
[emoji90] pile of bridle, and even bigger [emoji90] pile of Russian Tanned.

A pretty neat lookin edge, in the loupe.
Blows through arm hair, with ease.

As long as the scratches keep getting smaller.
The ahconite is like finishing on a Thurigan.

The Washita is awesome, for a Nat.
DMT slurry is quite aggressive, so I dilute as water is needed, then oil, then glycerin. By that time it looks like around 5-8000 on the edge, the coti was for shits and giggles, and didn't change things much. The first barber hone looked a real good 8-10000, and the Ahconite looks like my Thurigan.
    40x loupe.

Ok so while trimming the wedge down I realize its off but not horrible so I'm rolling with it for now. Bevel set on up through 12k finisher. Now test shave in a couple days.

Start with water and glycerin, then adding glycerin instead of water as it thins out. [emoji6]
