Looking really good, Tom. Glad you showed fixing the bug bites in the scales, I think I need to do that in the near future. All I have at the moment is the thin super glue, going to have to get some of that gel. I'm definitely staying tuned for when you got her put all together with those awesome bronze pins...

Thanks, Tuzi! The gel dries slower and mixes better with the dust than the thin stuff. Allows you to push it into the voids and work with it a bit. Sort of more like epoxy?

And with 1/16th of an inch of hair why do you need 1/2 inch of lather?
After a small amount of though I think the honest answer is that it has been a very long time since my shaving has been about needs. I'm playing with my toys, like a kid on Christmas morning. I just love that thick layer of lather and my fat brush and my wider than 4/8's razors. I suppose if I had to I could go with watery lather, or even water for that matter, and shave with the least I can, but where is the fun there. The challenge I suppose, but I love my toys!

Tom you once again amaze, "yeah just looked around and BAM!!! got a Rattler"
Looking forward to the finished razor like everyone else. And this polish you speak of that keeps the patina. I'd like to know what it is. Not that I don't like shiny things, but ya never know

Yeah, what's the bling again? Is it something like 3M marine chrome polish if I recall correctly...

I think his razors get "active" when human aren't around. I'll have it's DNA checked when I get it to see if it's my lost razor's child.
