Henry Littlewood, being graced by Sheffield to also have his name added in the honor role list, this razor resting before the next progression provided by the "always ready if you soak me first" Norton 8k stone. The modest Henry surely turning over in his grave in seeing what kind of yahoo would have clothed it in such thick red pizazze with wildly applied black lines. Taking a blind eye to the travesty at hand I can only work hard to bring back whatever life or history this razor has left to offer in respect to its original creator.

I am building a frame saw, however I still have quite a bit of wood left to shape.

That's really neat, nightcap. It's not every day you see someone working on something like that. Cool project

    I like it.

If an intruder tries to access the main house, through the garage, he'll stumble & break his neck. He will never make it in alive.

    I like your thinking!

However I do hope that during an emergency (such as a fire) that the garage isn't an option for an emergency exit!

But who am I to talk!?! Sorry but no expanded views of the Boars Nest at this time.

Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

Test fitting this biggin in Horn with a brass wedge spacer. The scales are still quite a bit OVERSIZE and will get leaned out and finish the sanding and polishing. Here they are just machine sanded thru 300 grit and hit with a quick polish because it was driving me nuts seeing the coloring and streaks in this beautiful horn popping thru and not able to get the full effect yet! Had to jump ahead to a polish and wow, I wish the pics did it justice, gorgeous coloring! after trimming them down to proper fit I will take them thru 400 and 600, then on thru the polishing. Blade is all set, just needs the final honing after assembly and this bad boy will get some face time

If at all possible I am not going to run towards the 10 gallons of gas and propane in the garage if there is a fire...

Beautiful razor as always thanks for sharing. The horn scales are really going to set it off!

Looking forward to the finished razor like everyone else. And this polish you speak of that keeps the patina. I'd like to know what it is. Not that I don't like shiny things, but ya never know

By hand, it is pretty aggressive, yet gentle. I use it with hard paper-towels. Does not seem to open pits.
Not soft stuff. Local donut shop donates~!
