Eastwoods part in that movie, was identical to how my father was in real life.

Martin the older we all get the more we feel like that part. "Get off my lawn!!!!"

Well ran a few razors over the tones to bring them back into fine sharpness.
This was caused by one of them slipping into the sink and putting a chip in the edge. Had to take it down to 1000 and start all over setting the bevel and going up the run of 4000, 8000 and then the 12k Nani stone.
The other 3 got the Nani as well then onto the Lipshaw.
Bridle, Roo then the Tony Miller fast leather. 100x on each step with each razor.
So my morning was kinda full, would have been done a little quicker but the youngins need some attention too.

Hope everyone is having an enjoyable Saturday

Well, I've been surfing the net looking at new razors, everywhere from Germany, US, England.... Everywhere, which means instead of buying new, I need to fix up a nice blade I already have. Almost hit the buy button on a few things that I just don't need.

I think it's time to start on this baby. A Boker Unrivalled I've had for a bit, and probably should have started working on a while ago. Think I'll start taking this rare beauty apart tonight and try and get all the rust removed. Mad Mike, I might be talking to you about getting this one re-gold washed over the blade etch. Expect a PM in the coming weeks.

Had some free time today so pulled two razors out of the 'to do' box. Ones a nice 5/8 robeson shuredge 1585 and the others a 6/8 ... well... im not really sure. Anyone ever see this house-fly logo before? Other side says: william bieser phila pa. No jumps. Wonder what its age might be.

Going to mess around with a new coticule and translucent ark tomorrow.

    Be happy to help Andrew.
Give me a reason to order some more gold solution, maybe some black chrome this time as well, as I was wondering how it might look on a tang or two.

Packed off the misses safely to her cousins in the desert so been sitting in my track pants, drinking bourbon and playing with the router.

Just crude passes in some scrap ash flooring to get a feel for the things range and capabilities in different materials for now.
A bit of a rabbit hole of its own this whole rendering, and digital conversion process is going to be. But hey, I didn't have any other projects on the go 'cept for this here script project for Tuzi and from that will come a whole bunch of other ideas.
    Cheers men!
