Some of the lead discolored the white when I rubbed it off

Guess I'll play around with the magnetic razzer holder, and some greaseless. This one has light pitting all over it.

And this one has been sitting for about 2 years. Its one of my earlier attempts at restoration, and scale making. Notice the screws, instead of peening. This is about when Sharpton talked (pushed) me into peening. It needs a little heal/ stabilizer work, then I can think about some new shoes for it.

Gotta say, thanks again Tom. If not for your push, and confidence, I would have never been able to pull this off either.

Its probably the largest hardware store I've ever been in.
Its been around since I was in diapers. But its much bigger now. They have everything imaginable. Lathes and turning tools, sanders, saws of all types, pen turning kits, some exotic woods. All types of CA & Glues/ epoxy. You name it.!!

Its also where I get my brush knots.

    Check it out.
If there's something you like, I can be there in less than 10 minutes.
Mike I checked it out. Searched for brush knots and all I could come up with is wire brushes and toilet brushes.....I think both have just a little too much scritch for my face.

They've only have 30,000 items of 75,000 logged into their data base at this time. At least that's what it said when I tried looking up the wax.

The knots are all black badger though.

Sanded, polished, blued and painted. The scratches on this blade were pretty deep but the 220 grit got the job done. The bevel will need to be evened up a bit, but so far so good.
