    I actually did six applications of the cold blue to get it dark enough. I can usually get this same result with 3 or 4 applications, but this one was stubborn.

    Bone scales done. Hand sanded to 3000 then hand buffed with mothers polish. They are super smooth! Now can't decide on wedge material..
    Any thoughts fellas?

    Personally, I think some black horn would look nice and keep it all organic material. But what do I know

    I still have some horn from the other scales I made its brown actually but it would look black stuck in there with no light shining through. I like the idea Roy.
    Also thinking about trying collar less like done with ivory.
