    Still processing my old boar-hide strops 2 at a time. 3 liberal rubbings of Bick 4 on both sides while twisting, rubbing, and bending. A day wait in between applications.
    Looking and feeling much better. The trial one I did in the beginning is doing much better with time. Getting downright soft and supple compared to the 'cardboard' state in which they began. Lotsa work!

    So Tom what happened to the linen second component that was with the strops too start? Were they just too far gone?

    Always time for a project, just make sure the project isn't bigger than your abilities. That's what makes them time consuming.
