Glad you brought that up, Martin! I thought a Western grind Kamisori is one which has no scales, yet is ground like a 'Western' razor, symmetrical?
Then there are kamisoris with scales like a 'Western' and a traditional Japanese asymmetrical grind.
Something 'Western' about each!

You could call it a folding Wa-Kamisori.
'Wa' refers to Japan so the proper name for traditional assymmetric kamisori is Wa-Kamisori.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
