Thanked: 4827Hmmm. How to word this. The bone will plug up the paper in no time flat and that definitely gets sticky. I tend to start wet sanding at 400 to avoid that. You can sand bone right up to mirror finish at 3k and then white rouge. Most of the time I am trying to keep an older or satin look to it and rarely go over 1500. As long as it is wet the paper stays clean and it is easy sanding.

I am constantly slapping the paper on my jeans in an air stream of the shop fan as I sand bone. Will clog if used excessively.
Stinky stuff!

Thanked: 4827When I am wet sanding scales I set the tap to a fast drip and sand under the faucet.
