My father and mother are both type 2. High or low can be an issue, both are bad. The best thing would come to an agreement about him taking his sugar level. You're his best friend and best judge of when something isn't normal. Too high, insulin or hospital, depends on the levels. Too low, the guy has to eat a snickers. Set something in stone and if he bitches in a fit, point to it.

Wife and I settled for a evening snack which worked. A really gooey hot fudge sundae. Those were the days of two injections a day. It got us through the night

    Default Certifyd brushes

Two more for my Certifyd collection almost done.

Finish has cured nicely with the warmer weather. Still have lettering on 4 & 6 to finish up but I’m going to use the #6 tomorrow cause I can't wait no more. Har!

Mounted with HMW knots {for my delicate skin } at 49mm for a little more backbone.

    Certifyd #3 - 22 x 49 HMW old and used
    Certifyd #4 - 24 x 49 HMW new and unwashed
    Certifyd #5 - 26 x 49 HMW old and used
    Certifyd #6 - 30 x 51 HMW new and unwashed

I have a 28mm HMW Rubberset #4 that holds a ton lather so this 30mm Certifyd is a monster and should hold two tons of lather. Har!

Nice work on that Torrey Steve.
And what a sight all those HMW in a row are, very nice work on those handles,, quite the collection you are amassing now I reckon.

    Beautiful work J
Once lathered, they should look like yummy ice cream cones [emoji39]

Before and after washing 30mm HMW. BOOM! I love how they bloom when first wasted. One swipe with this monster and half my face is lathered.

The water was not that dirty for this one. Others have left the water almost black. Seems lower grade knots are even dirtier. All have been TGN knots. They are like raw wool with all the crud and lanolin still in it. First Ex was a weaver & spinner so we had piles of barnyard stinkin' wool around. She say it was ten times easier to work with than washed wool. She won ribbons at State Fair so I guess she knew. Har!

My first two brushes were factory made brushes and I didn't know to wash first so I don't know. Har!

Question? Are new factory made brushes this dirty on first washing?

I've only ever bought two new brushes, (boar) one has been converted to badger. Answer.."YES".
    My favorite scrubber is this.

Saturate the bristles, let sit for a few, add shampoo, hot water, hand lather, rinse, repeat with shampoo.
