    Be back shortly fellas.
Mornin shave got side tracked today. So off to the rain box , and a bowl of soap, brush, and a virgin razor ( it had never been honed and used...till now)

Say guys. Prayers and thoughts for Geezer (Richard) as he underwent heart valve surgery this morning.
Flooding him with well-wishes is moot. It will take him through rehab to get back. Then, we can welcome him back!

    Here, here....
    I'll second that motion.
Deepest thoughts, and prayers for Richard. I owe him no least. [emoji17]

I already said some prayers for him. I do hope he recovers 100%. He has been helpful many times. I've always liked him!

He recently sent me a pm thanking me for mentioning Geoffrey Tweedale's Directory of Cutlery Manufacturers & that he had just gotten his. He said it was a bit too large to haul to MDs waiting rooms but I didn't want to ask him why he had to go to the doctor. He mentioned a book by Geoffrey called "Stan Shaw, Master Cutler which I found at an antique shop online for almost $300 about 12 miles from me but it was new. I found it for under $20 & it is a small 96 page book but very interesting. I wrote a short article on it because he wrote another thread about "The Last of the Little Mesters" so I Googled it & found a short article on Stan Shaw who is still living at 87 years young & still working 2 days a week making custom knives which are a high end item. I don't guess he had time to see it. You can see it here:

She's a awsome shaver guys. Ultra thin blade, makes lots of noise..... Kinda scared me, not used to that much sound from a razor.
