Thanks Mike. Yeah, if you read the link I put in, the guy is still making knives & they go for big bucks but he still keeps going like the Energizer bunny. He's up there in age but doesn't give up, after all, he's the last of 'em. All the rest are making knives in the Ultimate Cutlery!

Harold, I don't think the guys would mind you putting it on here. It would be a great beginning for you to start restoring. That's how ya do it is by starting on something you are describing. If it is a C-Mon Blackie, it should be a very nice straight to clean up. You'll also get plenty of good advice here.

Thought the new title reflects what this thread has become, or rather was all along. Open to all beaten blades, not just the FBU's.
Besides I wanted to stop freaking out phrank when a new update was issued.
Been dealing with Cars, insurance etc all week so my blade work has been on the back burner. Got my new winter projects in so am getting ready to get busy.
