Thanked: 250engine46, you didn't perhaps buy the Shumate 222 with the gold bling scales did you? The hammer went down on it today.

Thanked: 250Ok. A couple days ago I was going to suggest to you that we work out a deal and buy it together. I would take the blade and you take the gold bling scales. I have a nice chunk of black ebony that would have done justice to it.

Here's a link to scale casting:
http://straightrazorpalace.com/works...in-scales.htmlMy service is good, fast and cheap. Select any two and discount the third.

I suppose I have fallen off the wagon again. I seem to have had a relapse of 'Striper's' disease!

Think I might have a bit of sanding to do on this one.
It's a Warranted Razor Co.
5/8ths wedge, in bone scales. With a badly rusted spine. Looks to have been stored upside down in water, you can see the rust line on the scales.
But the rest of it looks pretty good.
I cut some of the rust off the toe with a razor , its a smooth black surface underneath, except for the top of the spine.
Just might be able to save it, for the most part.
