Thank you for these ones! Very relevant for me. Adopted by two psychiatrists, didn't learn about positive thinking until later in life but can recite info from the PDR on command. Lol

Loving children and positive parenting comes from one's soul, not from one's profession. I expect you would have been parented in a similar manner had your parents chosen to become scientists or lawyers instead of psychiatrists.

Very true. They were good, we children broke my father of his poor training.. his father never hugged him once in his life... we never stopped hugging him and it changed him.
