Actually, this one I fitted 2 barrels. One in .38 Super and the other in 9mm. I use this pistol for stock class (production class). For USPSA and IPSC I use the .38 Super barrel. For IDPA, I use the 9mm barrel. Mainly because there are more 9mm shooters in IDPA and they always pick up my brass, by mistake.

Considering 99% of us have 'day jobs', it's amazing we find the time to create awesome 'schtuff.' I think its a 'man thing.' We feel the need to build things to counter-act our non-fulfilling 'day jobs.' Not that we don't "like" our day jobs. Take me, for example, as an LEO I don't get the opportunity at the end of the day to step back and say "I built THAT." So, I build stuff at home. I like my job and wouldn't do anything else for a living, but the fact remains that while I do feel good about the things I do at work, its something that is here today and gone tomorrow. Building stuff at home, is something that I can look back on years down the road and recall everything about the process. Some of the tings I helped my late Father build years and years ago, are, to some, mere eyesores. However, I can remember 99% of the process it took to build it. Memories and that 'eyesore' is all I have left of my Father.

OK...I gotta stop now...can't see the keyboard!

That says it all for me too. I only find real fulfillment in working with my hands and creating.

I have a couch in my living room that I helped my father with. We cut the trees down on his farm and sawed them on his mill. It sits more like a church pew but I will never get rid of it! I can't remember the exact year but it has been over 40 ago.
