We have something similar for one of our dogs. It slows her down enough to where she doesn't run and try to steal the other dogs food. The one you have with a face looks like it would have more nooks and crannies to slow her down. I may have to look into getting one.

Only problem is size. None on Amazon holds more than two cups.

We used to put rounded river rocks and a bowl before we got the bowl with the pylons. They were a little larger than a hard ball.

Let me guess. A ball rolled under the bed. Or, the pup heard you say the word “vet”.

If he'd heard 'Vet' the other half would be under the bed.

Ha, ha! All good guesses. He just likes to crawl under the bed and squirm around. He likes to crawl under the covers and root around also. It all seems like great fun.

It's been an interesting few days here. Travis didn't deal with the celebration on the 4th.

We have the Umitilla Indian Reservation near by and they sell the big fireworks. Well Travis spent the night curled up under the computer desk. I didn't bother taking him for his normal walk. We went to bed at midnight but the booming went on until 3:00 am.

Our routine is to go for a morning walk about an hour after he's eaten and the same with the evening feeding. He gets really excited when I ask him if he want to WALK. However there was no reaction Monday morning. I put his lease on and once outside, he pulled and refused to go further. The same thing that night.

Same thing on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday I took him with me to the store and I parked up the block from the Boars Nest and he'd walk toward the apartment but refused to walk back to the rig so I just took him home and went back for the rig.

Lo and behold, this morning when I asked him of he wanted to walk, it was just like it used to be, jumping around, all excited. We walked the usual route just like we'd done for months.

It's good to have him back to normal, well as normal as can be expected
