Not my pipe of the day, so hope this is okay to post.

If anyone is looking for a little starter set Payless pipes has this Chacom deal going. Chacom is a good entry level pipe.

Payless Pipes - Briar Pipes - Chacom

I have purchased a lot of tobaccos from them over the years and they are very reputable.

    Default Be Leery... Be Wary...

Just a heads up for you guys that maybe looking for a pipe commission...

118 days ago I commissioned a pipe from "Moonshine Pipe Company"...

On day 101 I finally received a pipe that was to have taken no more than 4 weeks to complete...

After several emails, communication was finally reconnected. The pipe maker said that my pipe was ready to ship, it took two weeks to go from West Virginia to Iowa by priority mail.

When I received the pipe, it was not what was commissioned or what was suppose to be shipped, it was from a "$79.00" sale from two months before. (See attached photo, red arrow)

Displease, I contacted that maker and he stated, "I probably sent you the wrong pipe. Hold tight and keep that one and I'll send you another no charge. I apologize!"

Well another 18 days has passed... With no resolution.

Don't get me wrong, the pipe I did get in the mail is beautiful, however, if I'm spending the money, I expect to get what I ordered. I'd be more than happy to send the pipe I have back, but obviously, he doesn't want it back because he was stuck with it from a sale...

    Again, just a heads up...
