Default Bing's favorite or "chubby" pipe?

I've got a limited budget, but I should be purchasing my next pipe in a week or two. However, I'm torn and need some advice.

I'm thinking of purchasing a Bing's Favorite Savinelli, because I think it would be a great everyday pipe for me. However, I would also like to purchase a "chubby" pipe for when I'm on the lawnmower and doing yard work all summer.

Anyone have experience with either style of pipe or suggestions? Right now, I'm leaning towards purchasing the Bing's Favorite and also picking up a shorter cob to hold me over for a few months until I can save up for another pipe. The reason I would like a shorter pipe is that one that stays closer to my face is more suitable for the outdoor work that I do (clearing brush and work that has me pushing through a good amount of branches/limbs/obstacles).

I also received an early father's day gift from my wife. She bought me a Peterson Dublin Churchwarden. It's a great smoker and the bowl holds more tobacco than I imagined. It's a very nice smoke as I walk around my office trying to put together my ideas for upcoming research and papers.

The picture reminded me of a tobacco that is actually called Trout Stream HPCS Bulk - Trout Stream (by the ounce)

I'm generally not a huge fan of aromatics but this one is truly one of the rare "Gee your pipe smells great!" tobaccos that are actually really good smokes. I wouldn't care to smoke it every day but when the sweet tooth strikes it is one of the best aromatics out there (IMHO, YMMV, etc.)

OTOH I had 2 parcels arrive today. I got 7oz. of "Father Orin" from 4Noggins and 7oz. 1776 "Old Dominion" from Sterling Tobacco. Both smell amazing, the Father Orin smells like Juicy Fruit chewing gum. The "Old Dominion" just smells good in its own way. Ordered a couple Capris from pipes and cigars.com. They were "inexpensive" and that's what drew me in. They looked smart too. I also have 7 more oz. of STM on its way.......What have I gotten into?!?!? The Capris will be for the Father Orin and the Old Dominion. I can't wait for the arrival of all the new goodies. As a side note; the STM is some good tobacco. I am glad I heard about it here and gave it a try. It is definitely an earthy type smell and smoke. It smokes dry and cool. If you honk on it too hard it may tingle a bit, but no real bite. I have heard it called an "aromatic English", maybe I don't know. The flavor is woodsy, pine-ish. It also has spicy citrus in it as well. I explained it to my wife that it tastes like smoky Skittles. Kind of a burning tart sour black cherry flavor. Hard to describe. Good stuff all the same!...Evan
    Sounds great...Pics ???

If you want that Bing more than the chubby,go with the bing and get a cob for working outside. You might want to look here as well for a cob nosewarmer NoseWarmer

    Greetings from Italy.
Today we arrived in Canazei (Dolomites)
This week they got nearly two feet snow, but the streets are free. Tomorrow I'll find out if "my" trails are snow-free too.
Stay tuned, tomorrow I'll post some pictures.

Butternut Burley in a Four Digit Kaywoodie

Butternut Burley is a bit more cased than my ordinary fare and is vaguely similar to a Lanes blend. I doubt it's any threat to OJK for the first chair but its a decent light, "doing something else" smoke.
