My hope is that before the unit ends, I'll be able to create and show them a FRAPS video of me on the same course. And when we start on projectiles, I fully intend to bring a computer into class so we can do demos and/or a mini-lab with Portal.
BTW, here are some photos of my rig:

Love the use of the Duracell in pic 2

Yeah it was a short game. I do get bored some times so short games do have there ups and downs. Pity they are worth so much...

Oh yea, battery is an awesome plug. I learned that trick when I first built my loop; I could buy a plug or use one I had lying around. Gotta love rigged up hardware!
I used to have an 80mm fan attached to the northbridge cooler by paperclips, but wanted to see if it would work without it (cause it was annoying and popped off frequently, it was one more thing running in the case, and one more wire to deal with). I've been running it passive for months now (through some good heat) and had no problems. Currently the Q6600 is only pushed up to 3Ghz, though; for bigger OC's the fan might need to go back on.
Again, rigged up. I bumped my voltage, and without air from a conventional CPU cooler, the voltage regulators got a bit hot. I actually used to have two fans there, but just one is fine now. Again, lower overclock (and less CPU voltage).
The case is quite old now, but I bought it before MountainMods actually released the Duality. Mine is slightly customized; I requested a single 120mm fan slot on each mobo tray instead of dual 80mm slots, both my PSU's would sit on the bottom, and I have the four 120mm fan slots on the top. I hadn't realized the fans would be too thick to fit inside, but I like them on top. I actually sit my crappy Time Warner modem on top to help keep it cool, and when I used to use an external hard drive, that sat on top as well. You'll also see I don't use any 5.25 drives, so I used some 1/8 acrylic to make fillers on the front. I also used 1/8 acrylic to make the shroud for my dual heatercore.
Oh, right, why did I get that case in the first place. In college I ran a fileserver, and that occupied the other slot. I still have the mobo in, but the rest of the computer has been dismantled. Now that I am the only one accessing my hard drives, there is no need for a separate file server. But in college, when I would be gaming, I didn't want someone streaming media and killing my bandwidth, so a second computer made a lot of sense.

As promised - but I should have dusted first lol!
Running mild OC on everything, and can push the 560Ti to a full GHz if I can put up with the noise!
With the 92mm fan on the OCZ Vendetta, the 140mm above and 120mm behind then I don't really have to worry about the OC on the CPU.
It needs upgrade again though soon - still on core2duo e6750, just had other money priorities
Thinking about a nice i7 2600k

nice rig! I got my 2600k about 7 months ago and i'm surprised there isn't a newer one yet!
That card only just falls below my 6970 and being over clocked it guessing it's way above mine! I have played around with over clocking my cards but they sound like jet engines when they worm up and it only take an extra 15mhz for them to increase dramatically in the heat! They sit close to 100 degrees Celsius without overclocking when playing games.
Ps. I hope the shoes in the background aren't yours

So are any of you planning on picking up gears 3 on Monday night? I'm gonna be seriously dragging Tuesday at work...

I still have to play gears 2 yet, my Xbox and its 3 replacements died a few years back and i just gave up and went back to PC..
However, I've just finished my "anal" playthrough of ME2 (in order to have a perfect playthrough for 3 when it comes out), following on from a similar playthrough of ME. So i basically all planets, all achievements, everyone survives, level 30, all DLC etc etc.
Now i'm doing the same with New Vegas, 66 hours in and havent even walked onto the strip yet. maybe less point than with ME 2 because it doesnt count for anything for the sequel, but i like to be a completist. I'll play a game thru once normally, then put it away for a few months and go back to it and play through again.
