Glen, this thread has really blown up into a monster. how many people do you have now? seems like a good cross section between beginners, intermediate and honemeisters.

Thanked: 13245It has gone way beyond my most optimistic expectations for sure...
Just from some of the ideas that have hit my PM box I think there are going to be quite a bit of new tweaks and tips for pulling the best edge possible out of the N8k...
"At this Point in Time"... I am planning on at least two new Vids myself let alone how many more are getting made...
The best possible outcome is a plethora (fancy word warning) of different ideas and methods that not only get used on the Nortons but people will try on other stones too...
And most importantly, I don't know about you guys but I am sure having fun
ps: at last count we have 34 people in the gameLast edited by gssixgun; 12-22-2011 at 05:34 PM.

Thanked: 14Any room at the table for a rookie?
I like to hone using a cookie sheet to catch my run-off.
I won't take up much room, and I'll bring some beverages...
...and i won't use a GD!
I usually DE once or twice a week, but I would happily take a DE break to participate.
hey... deja vu!
now which razors to pick...Last edited by kingping; 12-22-2011 at 06:31 PM.

Man, this sounds like a lot of fun. If I had a Norton 4/8, I'd be in on it as I struggle to get where I want to be with honing, this challenge would force one to learn and stay focused. Really cool, can't wait to see some results and obtain the knowledge that will be brought forth.
