Thanked: 1160I like British Marmite and Vegemite and if Vegemite wasn't short of B12 I would make it my first choice as I find it less salty than Marmite. As for that last 10 %...a small size spatula gets it out or add boiling water to it and drink it up as a broth.Other than that...guess you'll have to go without man.

Thanked: 983That's a Kiwi product mate, so it's good to see your sticking to national pride. Did you know that Sanitarium is wholly owned by the Seventh day Adventist Church, and that they only produce Vegetarian food? I found that out only recently myself, not that it makes any difference to me. I thought it interesting, because that mob must be hauling in the cash!
Bacon, Eggs, Beans and Hashbrown for breakfast today...But I didn't think to take a photo. Sorry Steph! You would have thought that I would have, especially since I've been practically sleeping with a camera hanging off my neck for the last few days!

Thanked: 580Yeah I knew that Mick, and they don't pay any tax, there was a bit of an uproar about it recently. I think they give a fair bit toward charity and other worthy causes though.
Steph, I will post a pic when I have some next, but nothing too glamorous to look at. Just imagine a piece of toast with way too much butter, and you can't see the butter for the Marmite.Into this house we're born, into this world we're thrown ~ Jim Morrison

Sunday morning, brunch time. This has already appeared for dinner, and was so yummy it's reappeared for breakfast.
Two duck-eggs in a hole, a few sausages, and dark coffee.
A great way to start a somewhat chilly day.
Have a good Sunday, everyone.

Huevos Rancheros for todays breakfast - Flour tortilla covered with Mexican potatos, cubed smoked ham, two eggs sunny up, cilantro and smothered in our home made tomatillo salsa. The wife knocked it out of the park
One tired old Marine- semper fi, god bless all vets

Thanked: 983Should have taken a photo I know, I've been taking photo's of everything else today. Ham and eggs for breakfast today. A nice thick slab of ham cut off the (deboned) leg. Bloody nice way to kick start the day after my 30km ride this morning.
