Toasted home-made rye bread with peanut butter + a cup of joe.
All around great flavour contrast. Yum!

You forgot the Raspberry jam. Adds a nice dimension to the flavor levels.

Can I have your rye bread recipe? I've been making a basic whole wheat with sesame, caraway and fennel seeds added for flavor. Really love a good dark Russian rye.

Hmmm...and I do have homemade raspberry jam...
    Next time for sure.
I will PM you my recipe closer to the weekend, if that's ok.

Something new I'm trying. Smoked salmon and quinoa.
The salmon was a touch too salty for my liking, though, but definitely a do again.

Toasted home-made rye bread with peanut butter + a cup of tea.
This time, with added home made raspberry jam. Yum!
Sadly, the last of the bread.

    Coffee, black and strong
Soft boiled egg with a little salt
Rye bread with butter and smoked salmon.
The salmon was from the fjord next door.

This morning we had what my friend calls dirty eggs. He has got a big cast iron pan the must be 14 inches and the last morning of our fishing trip he tossed in anything we had leftover. Fish, venison, potatoes, pork sausage, onions etc. Eggs. You get the idea. No pictures, "ugly" but tasted good!
