What even with the action shot in the sandwich press? On the last picture, literally about one second after I had taken the photo of the guts of the sandwich it closed itself, evidently it was always destined for stardom.
I reckon if you tried it you might like it. Just make sure the outside of the bread is buttered.

I have just remembered a snack I used to have: buttered weetabix with marmite.
Weet-bix buttered with vegemite might work.
If I recall weet-bix and weetabix are slightly different, i think that one is rectangular and one has rounded ends, not sure otherwise, its been a long time since I had either.
Used to have 4 in a bowl of milk, with about 6 tablespoons of sugar on them. Hence I stopped eating them.

A touch of butter on the outside would have been nice but it was all hard in the fridge, someone had kindly put the butter tub that we leave out away, but had left it devoid of butter, I put it in the dishes.
A classic example of how to apply vegemite properly...Just don't have any salt for the rest of your day . And yes Weet-Bix and vegemite (with butter for those who need explicit instruction) does go quite well, though I never really took to the dry weet-bix, and applied my butter copiously to make up for that. Might be why I'm not an athlete anymore ;D

As you can see I had Weetabix instead of Weet-bix but I think it is more of a variation of spelling and possibly patent issues. It is a bland cereal and I used honey to sweeten it up. I added some Granny Smith apple and Pink Lady apple around the sides. The Granny Smith was grown in the US and the Pink Lady in Chile but both cultivars were developed in Australia. Both were good but I lean toward the Pink Lady.

On the side I had a couple of pieces of toast with butter and Vegemite. The plate wasn't heated! Pleasantly surprised as Vegemite is not what i expected. I was thinking that it was a food like peanut butter instead of being a condiment. Looking at it from the different point of view opens up many possibilities. My conclusion is that a little goes a long way.

I added a couple of tim tams for desert! Excellent! I will have to try the hot drink being sucked through them idea.

I don't know if I can keep this experiment up for long as anything Aussie is expensive at least here. i did get some Kangaroo loin for hopefully tomorrow that better taste good for the price!
Looks tasty...Pics of the Tim Tams ?? Never had one .

If you could with out judgement I reckon you'de be drinking that Vegemite like a bear sucks honey out of a jar.

I can imagine the Vegemite on cheaper processed cheese but not for the couple I picked up on my culinary adventures today.

Hooks Bloomin Idiot is better yet but hard for me to find

I also picked up some fancy steel cut oats. I think that I spent $9.50 on the can and 25 cents on the oats but I will include a review later!

    you guys are bad influences!

P.S. I don't know for sure but chances are that those bananas are Cavendish as they are a large proportion of world production.
Mite would go with just about any cheese in my book. OOO I just thought of OOOOO..... a Marmite Stilton sandwich with Apple pie and tea on the side. Droooooooooooool !

the Weetabix I tried has rounded ends. I tried one out of the box dry and that didn't work.

I thought that I would give one to my 2 year old grandson thinking it may be a good snack. After I tried it dry and about chocked without liquid I thought better. Also it crumbled to pieces when dry.

It needed lots of milk. OK as a cereal then. I don't know how much butter or marmite you would need to make it swallow able.....

Is swallowable a word I relied on spell check!

Vegemite and butter on an Arrowroot biscuit might be the way to go for you 32t. Do you have Arrowroot bikkies over there? Arnotts is the brand I know.

A goodly amount of butter, like a few mm thick at least or 3/32 of an inch for the imperialists amongst us.
